We’re On A Mission
The Helen A. Toland Foundation is a Southern Nevada community organization dedicated to empowering diverse communities to advocate for self-sufficiency. By providing access to vital tools, we focus on education, health and wellness—both traditional and holistic—and family empowerment. Through our work, we help individuals and families build resilience and thrive, creating stronger, healthier communities across the region.
Our Focus Areas
-
We believe education is a cornerstone of self-sufficiency. Our programs, such as the HTF Education Scholarships, provide opportunities for both youth and adults to excel academically and pursue lifelong learning. By promoting academic excellence, we aim to open doors to new possibilities and empower individuals to shape their futures.
-
Wellness goes beyond physical health—it’s about living a balanced, fulfilling life. Our foundation offers access to both traditional and holistic health resources, supporting families in nurturing their mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We promote practices that lead to healthier, more fulfilling lives for the entire community.
-
Families are the heart of our communities. Through our programs, we support parental engagement, financial literacy, legal services, and workforce re-entry. By providing families with the tools to grow and succeed, we strengthen the foundation of our communities and promote lasting stability.
